David J. Hansen, Ph.D. is an educator with nearly two decades of experience in higher education
researching and teaching at the intersections of creativity, entrepreneurship, and marketing. He has
been using the lean startup methodology in teaching for over a decade, making him among the first
to do so. He developed most of his teaching materials, which he has used to teach over 1000
students. He has developed numerous courses and programs for universities and non-profits. He is
an advocate for supporting women of color entrepreneurs.
