Welcome to our Comprehensive Drone Training Program, a two-part class that will take you on an exciting journey into the world of drones! In this program, we will cover both the fundamental aspects of drone operation and preparation for the FAA Part 107 test, enabling you to become a skilled and certified drone pilot.

Part 1: Introduction to Drones (2 days a week for 6 weeks).  In the first part of this program, you will be introduced to the basics of drone technology and piloting. We will start with the essentials, including understanding drone components, safety protocols, and flight principles. Hands-on flight training with various drone models will enable you to gain practical experience and confidence in piloting drones. Additionally, we’ll explore drone photography and videography techniques, allowing you to capture stunning aerial visuals. Whether you are a hobbyist or looking to integrate drones into your professional work, this foundational part will set you on the right path to becoming a proficient drone operator.

Part 2: FAA Part 107 Test Preparation (2 days a week for 6 weeks). The second part of the program is dedicated to preparing you for the FAA Part 107 test, which is required to obtain your commercial drone pilot certification. We will delve into the specific topics covered in the test, including airspace regulations, weather conditions, emergency procedures, and more. Our experienced instructors will guide you through practice exams and provide valuable insights to ensure you are well-prepared for the test. Successfully passing the Part 107 exam will open up opportunities for commercial drone operations, allowing you to use your drone piloting skills for various professional application

Drones III Video Editing & Production is a 6-week (2 days a week) advanced course focused on turning raw drone footage into professional-quality videos. Students learn essential editing skills, including color correction, audio enhancement, transitions, branding elements, and export settings using industry-standard software.

By the end of the program, participants will produce a polished final project that showcases their ability to capture, edit, and deliver high-quality aerial video content for social media, marketing, or client use.

DRONES II - FAA 107 Exam Preparation

Date:  March 16, 2026 – April 21, 2026 (6 wks)

Days/Time:  Mondays and Tuesdays, 5p-7p

  March 16, 2026 – 5p

Location:  Virtual – MS Teams

Fee:  $179 (non-scholarship)

(Scholarship available – once your registration is received, EA will notify you if awarded a scholarship)

 

DRONES III - Video Editing & Production

Date:  March 16, 2026 – April 23, 2026 (6wks)

Days/Time:  Mondays & Thursdays, 5p-7p

  March 16, 2026 – 5p

Location:  Virtual – MS Teams

Fee:  $179 (non-scholarship)

(Scholarship available – once your registration is received, EA will notify you if awarded a scholarship)

 

SCHOLARSHIP AVAILABLE

Applicants who are Veterans or Justice-Impacted may qualify for a full scholarship, including out-of-state participants.

Illinois residents who live in an R3 Zone may also qualify for a scholarship.
R3 Zone eligibility applies only to Illinois residents.

Required Documentation:

  • Residency (IL only): IL State ID, Driver’s License, utility bill, lease/mortgage, or voter card

  • Veterans: Veteran ID, DD-214, or VA Benefits Letter

  • Justice-Impacted: Reentry program letter, court documents, or probation/parole papers
    (Sensitive information may be redacted.)

Program Cost:
$179 per 6-week semester (non-scholarship).

The EA Team will review your registration and notify you of scholarship eligibility.
